A Graphite Piece

Amongst the portraits I told you I explored yesterday after going through my gallery, this was the second I found and embarked on.

Even before I started, I had a feeling that it would take some time to complete but I started it anyway. The texture I pursued was a lot similar to the one I explored yesterday.
The funny thing is, the actual reference was a lot lighter than this but I felt leaving it that way might not properly represent or bring out some tones so I went a bit darker.

I knew that if I applied more depth, I would’ve done something tremendous but I didn’t feel the need to, it was good already.
