MINUTE function
Function Type:
Date and Time
Description:
MINUTE function in Excel or Google Sheets is used to convert a serial number to a minute.
"MINUTE" returns only the minute of the serial number, it ignores the hours and seconds. Minutes resets on 60-minute clock so if the serial number is more than 60 it will be like the serial number minus 60. As for decimal, it calculates the percentage of 60 and return the minute component.
Function Structure:
=MINUTE(serial_number)
Arguments
serial_number - a valid Excel time (serial number) or decimal number.
