Spring is here!
They are always first!
And they scream "Yo, spring is here!" :)
The tiny, little snowdrops.
Very often they would grow when there is still snow on the ground. The leaves would pierce through it and little flowers would open despite the cold and they'd be the first flowers to bloom in very early spring/end of winter. They just need some sun and higher temperatures during the day.
Maybe that is why they are so special even though they are not the most flashy. Even the flowers are just white and green.
They won't last long and the flowers will fade, then the leaves will dry back. But the little bulb hidden deep in the ground will stay alive and multiply waiting for the winter to end.
Shot with a Samyang lens instead of my trusty Sigma and it was a good choice. Both are prime lenses and I love Sigma for the macro and nice bokeh, but Samyang is just so... smooth! Quite irresistible, I must say.
And a pretty stick as a bonus :D
