Vologda land from above
I missed these kinds of views! Even if I've already seen many similar landscapes and taken photos of them, there's almost an infinite number of ways to do so. However, after many years, I still haven't used a drone for aerial photography.
The longer I take pictures, the more honest I am with both the viewer and myself.
And a drone for me is some kind of cheating...also, like photo traps, action cameras, fixed somewhere.
Yes, you are in control of the process, but you are not in the process itself.
Aircraft, helicopter, paraglider...there I see with my own eyes from a height through a porthole and I take pictures directly through the viewfinder.
I'm experiencing all the sensations I get when I look down from above... not through a display when I'm standing on the ground.
The footage from the drone could have been much more interesting, high-quality, and precise.
There are no strict restrictions on the drone's altitude or viewing angle, but there are limitations on its distance and flight time.
If I'm flying in a helicopter, for example, it's one height, and it's constant.
You can only take pictures from an airplane during takeoff or landing. The rest of the time, there are clouds or haze.
A paraglider (or any other parachute-and-motor thing, there are a lot of names for them) is also good, but the time and distance are shorter than those of a helicopter.
I've divided the posts into graphics with textures and more familiar views, which I'll show in the next post.
Previously, I used to shoot everything from a height, but now I approach it more consciously and choose interesting subjects.
And it's not some specific frequency, it's nothing at all...it's just a rare gift that's always welcome.
You don't need to set up for a shoot – you're always ready!
To be continued...
