Olivia pronto irá al preescolar [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! quiero contarles que muy pronto Olivia va a empezar una nueva etapa, sí, la del preescolar, y aunque estamos muy felices porque ella está creciendo, la separación es algo que nos va a afectar a todos, probablemente más a mí que a Olivia, pero entiendo que es parte de la vida, y como madre, decidí empezar a prepararla a ella para este comienzo, pues a su edad ya ella entiende muchas palabras y cosas que van a pasar, y un libro interactivo fue una gran idea para mostrarle todo o casi todo lo que ella va a hacer allí en el preescolar.

El libro es de la serie Kicia Kocia y por supuesto está en polaco, pero yo le leo en español a ella y le encanta, además con las figuras y muebles en cartón que trae este libro, intentamos imitar las actividades que ella va a hacer allí, como por ejemplo jugar, ir al baño, aprender, comer con los demás niños, entre otras cosas y algo bueno es que como el otro día pudímos visitar el preescolar todos para llevar los papeles, Olivia se dio cuenta que si hay un parque en el preescolar tal cual como lo vimos en el libro, y la verdad es que ella ama los parques.

Probablemente los primeros días a ella le va a afectar mucho ir al preescolar, pero siento que después de un tiempo va a amar estar allí, así que también le digo que no se preocupe que todo va a estar bien, y que nosotros siempre iremos a buscarla después de un par de horas en el preescolar, claro que necesito ser fuerte cuando llegue ese momento para que le de más seguridad a ella, por ahora me desahogo con ustedes mientras llega ese gran día que será en septiembre y ustedes aún recuerdan los primeros días de preescolar de sus hijos?

Hi, everyone! I want to tell you that very soon Olivia is going to start a new chapter in her life—yes, preschool—and although we’re very happy that she’s growing up, the separation is something that’s going to affect all of us, probably me more than Olivia, but I understand that it’s part of life, and as a mother, I decided to start preparing her for this new beginning, since at her age she already understands many words and what’s going to happen, and an interactive book was a great way to show her everything—or almost everything—she’ll be doing there in preschool.

The book is from the Kicia Kocia series and, of course, it’s in Polish, but I read it to her in Spanish and she loves it. Plus, with the cardboard figures and furniture that come with the book, we try to imitate the activities she’ll be doing there, such as playing, going to the bathroom, learning, eating with the other children, among other things. And one good thing is that, since the other day we were all able to visit the preschool to drop off the paperwork, Olivia realized that there’s a playground at the preschool just like the one we saw in the book—and the truth is, she loves playgrounds.

The first few days of preschool will probably be really hard on her, but I feel like after a while she’ll love being there, so I also tell her not to worry, that everything will be fine, and that we’ll always come pick her up after a couple of hours at preschool. Of course, I need to be strong when that moment comes so I can make her feel more secure. For now, I’m venting to you all as we wait for that big day in September.
