Well I actually ended up joining at the last minute because I couldn't think of a song. I guess not knowing what's going to happen with me and the graduate program is really messing with my head. Now that it's almost a foregone conclusion that I'll fail and be out of the program, it hurts more than I expected. The coordinator still hasn't called us or made an announcement, so we'll just have to wait and see.

No quise dejar este post para último momento, siempre haciendo el maximo esfuerzo para mantenerme posteando a tiempo en la semana, esta vez paso y no quise fallar, espero mantenerme puntual de ahora en más, de verdad. Las evaluaciones del postgrado estan con fuerza, esto me lleva loco de verdad, tambien con el trabajo de grado, sigo medio perezoso. Recordando que me dieron la oportunidad de continuar con este postgrado de Biología Marina, así que toca seguir dando más, despues de todo si quiero lograr este titulo de magister y capaz ahora si logre enamorarme del area Marina. La canción seleccionada creo que terminó siendo super romantica, la verdad nunca me dedique a aprendermela, pero es ahora cuando leí y acomode montón parte de la letra que tenía en mi cabeza, la canción es de las más bonitas de a cantante puertorriqueña Kany Garcia y titula "Para siempre". No quise seguir pensando a ver si se me ocurria otra canción, conforme de como resulto mi elección para esta semana, sin dudas necesitaba hacerla, capaz es dedicada a mi amor por la Biología en el pregrado que se enfocaba a las plantas terrestres, así que me pareció oportuno.

Hello, everyone in the HIVE OPEN MIC community! It’s Hive account@eudarcabello here, and this time I’m participating in Week 319, titled “Forever and Ever.” I didn’t want to leave this post until the last minute—I always try my hardest to post on time each week, but this time I slipped up and didn’t want to let you down. I hope to stay on schedule from now on, for real. Graduate school exams are in full swing—this is really driving me crazy—and I’m also working on my thesis, though I’m still a bit lazy. I’m reminded that I was given the opportunity to continue this graduate program in Marine Biology, so I need to keep pushing myself. After all, I want to earn this master’s degree, and maybe now I’ll finally fall in love with the marine field. I think the song I chose ended up being super romantic. To be honest, I never really bothered to learn it by heart, but it wasn’t until now that I read and pieced together a lot of the lyrics I had in my head. The song is one of the most beautiful by the Puerto Rican singer Kany Garcia, and it’s titled “Para siempre.” I didn’t want to keep thinking about whether another song might come to mind; I’m happy with how my choice turned out for this week. I definitely needed to do this—maybe it’s dedicated to my love for biology during my undergraduate studies, which focused on terrestrial plants, so it seemed fitting.
