Throughout our journey on Hive we will be posting weekly updates which will include the previous weeks accomplishments and a look ahead. The information contained in these posts will range from technical updates to information about our Hive Community.

Lets get started!

A look at last week - 👀

Last week was very exciting and we really appreciated all of the support from the Hive community.

  • Hive Launch Announcement
    • Last week we were happy to announce our plans of moving to the Hive Blockchain. Click above to read all about it.
  • Creation of Gem (NFTs) and Ducats (fungible tokens) at hive-engine
    • We successfully launched our NFTs and Fungible Tokens on the Hive and Wax mainnet and the Ethereum Testnet!
  • Wrote a post explaining the benefits of EtherChest launching on Hive.
  • Participated in the Spadina Testnet Genesis
    • We were able to successfully proposed a block on each of our 3 validators within the first few hours and proposed a block in Epoch 1 slot 55!
  • Launched our dApp Preview at https://dashboard.etherchest.com
  • Created a Hive Community on peakd in order to reward users with badges and awards!
  • Created EtherChest Genesis Staker badge on peakd
  • Integrated Hive Keychain into or dApp to allow Hive users to sign in using their Keychain browser extension
  • Completed backend to handle Gem purchases.

What will next week bring?

As part of this series of updates we will always give a small glimpse in to the future and allow our readers to find out what we are up to. We feel this is much better than a roadmap in our whitepaper!

  • Buttoning up the frontend of our dApp
  • Launching pre-sale in order for Hive users to earn the EtherChest Genesis Staker badge and get a chance to earn up to 24% APR in the first few weeks!
  • Minting Diamond, Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby NFTs to get ready for launch.
  • Founder qwoyn@qwoyn will be on a podcast about the EtherChest Ecosystem with scottcbusiness@scottcbusiness.
