Mask and chrysalis / Máscara y crisálida

This is another writing exercise with some photos from my childhood. Here I am with my brother and my cousins. The instruction was to discover a powerful object among the memories of childhood or adolescence and write about how that object manifests its power in your life.

“Lots of serious games as a masked girl. They told me that in the upside down kingdom there are snowmen that can withstand 30 ° C. Being every December at El Tigre was the gift of my childhood. There I am as if transported by the power of the butterfly wings mask. I don't need to see through it. I am already a chrysalis: mystery and transformation”.

Este es otro ejercicio de escritura con unas fotos de mi infancia. Acá estoy con mi hermano, mi primo y mis primas. La instrucción era descubrir un objeto poderoso entre las memorias de la infancia o adolescencia y escribir sobre cómo ese objeto manifiesta su poder en tu vida.

“Tanto juego tan en serio como niña enmascarada. Me dijeron que en el reino del revés hay muñecos de nieve que soportan los 30°C. Estar cada diciembre en El Tigre fue el regalo de mi infancia. Allí estoy como transportada por el poder de la máscara alas de mariposa. No necesito ver a través de ella. Ya soy crisálida: misterio y transformación”.
