Still not home

Checked out of the hotel early to leave for the airport. On the way, I found out the flight was delayed and at the airport it turned out the delay would be more than 24 hours. Had to wait a long time to get a hotel voucher and a transfer to the hotel. Once there, I rested a bit and informed my work contacts that I would be able to work as normal on Monday. Then I walked around Las Palmas, the capital of the island and region, and had dinner there.

It's quite unfortunate not to sleep in my own bed, but it is what it is...
