COLLEGE BUDDIES GET TOGETHER

The day after our graduation photos were taken was the day that we plan to have fun. We had been planning this get-together for a month or two, knowing that everyone would be in Cebu for the graduation picture photoshoot, so my friend James suddenly booked a place in Lawaan, Talisay City, the 418 Retreat. It's a fantastic spot on the roof of a house in Alpha Executive Homes' subdivision. Oh and let me point out their calming jacuzzi where you may bathe while looking at the breathtaking view of the city.

We then began preparing the food for our special dinner as soon as we arrived. I call it special because the food and, of course, the conversations are both amazing. Also, I'd like to commend my two friends Jizyl and Gale for their hard work in preparing the meal (cause what the rest of us just did is to cook the rice, wash the dishes, and worked on thesis hahaha)

Dinner Time

It was a really enjoyable evening for me. My friends went into the Jacuzzi, but I decided not to join them because it was my period hahaha, so I simply sat on the side of the Jacuzzi and spoke and laughed with them. I must confess, I was a little envious of them, but that was alright since we were still having a good time. They also have a karaoke machine, which we absolutely enjoyed by belting out our favorite songs as if we were at a concert and of course, this night wouldn't be complete without talking about our lives as a college student during the face to face classes. We hadn't been complete since the beginning of the pandemic two years ago, so we made sure to use all of the times we missed, which is clearly insufficient LOL, but it's still worth it though.

The next day, it was a lovely morning, and we ate our breakfast while laughing about stuff. Some of us ate outside until it began to rain, at which point we opted to return inside. We cracked jokes at each other, created tiktok videos, cleaned up the mess, and took selfies from the mirror.

We were really in love with the big mirror that they have in the place. So what else are we supposed to do??? but to get a "MIRROR SELFIE".

We then gathered our belongings to leave a few hours later, around noon. I had a great time with everyone over the last 24 hours. We're preparing to return home, and the majority of my friends are heading back to their hometowns outside of Cebu City. I will surely miss them. Everything goes back to the new normal again, virtual classes, video calls, and messenger chats. That day was indeed a breathe of fresh air.

We might now know when is the time that we are going to be meet again (maybe on our graduation day) but one thing is for sure, I will always remember the times that we have spent together (highs and lows included) and I will always be here for each one of them.
