$HIVE, $BTC & ETH/BTC Technical Analysis - 07.06.2026

Given the recent events, I'm not sure if I'm eager to chart $HIVE today ๐Ÿ˜† but it is what it is, this is part of the game and has always been in the cards. It's the first week of the month, so let's see where we stand (not that we don't know already ๐Ÿ˜‚) or what can we do next week.

This is what the monthly chart looks like at the moment. We still have 3 weeks till the candle closes, so you can't rely on it, till it's closed, but so far we have a brutal bearish engulfing candle, which means price is trading way below the monthly open. We're going to get back to it once the candle closes, but I'd keep an eye on the all time low (ATL) at $0.0327.

On the weekly time frame, price swept $0.0553, which was the swing low last week and it is trading at $0.0513 as we speak. The weekly candle closes in 15 hours, we have to wait for the close, but so far we got a bearish engulfing candle. If the weakness continues, all time low (ATL) at $0.0327 could be next on the downside and if, by some miracle, we get a bullish momentum, to rocket price to the upside, the level I'd keep an eye on is at $0.0988.

On the daily time frame, price created a bearish gap on Friday and at the time of writing it is trading below the gap. There are two scenarios you can consider, apart from going sideways obviously. Either sweep all time low (ATL) at $0.0327 and bounce, or rebalance the gap, close above it and try to sweep $0.0946. I'd say the latter is a long shot, but would not be true. If you look at the chart, we have these spikes to the upside, so it is not something unimaginable.

Orders are building up on both sides, so we'll see where price is going to go next.

On the h4 time frame, price managed to set a swing low at $0.0483 yesterday.

image.png

Zooming in, we have two bearish gaps on the sell side and price is trying to retest the lower one as we speak. For those of you who are not familiar how this works, this gap means liquidity, but resistance too.

For bullish continuation, price needs to close and stay above the gap, in which case the upper gap could be next. Fail to close above the gap and we could see price back to sweep swing low at $0.0483, or ATL at $0.0327.

Zooming out on $BTC, this is what I'd like to see, but again, it's not about what I'd like or wouldn't like, so we have to be objective here.

image.png

The downside move we had this week left some gaps, so if $59,081 is the local bottom and price starts to invert those bearish gaps, maybe we can have a move to the upside. Otherwise $49,054 could be next.

ETH/BTC The upper gap price was retesting last week could not hold price and it is lost now. Price is retesting the lower one and this has to hold as it's a crucial level.

Next week we have two red folder days, with very important economic data release, but I'd be ready for volatility on the other days too, so stay safe.

Remember, technical analysis is not about forecasting price, but about reacting to what price does.

As always, this is a game of probabilities, not certainties. Also please note, this is not financial advice, it's my view and understanding of the market.
