Después de ver tantas tristezas y sentir tanto miedo estas últimas semanas, encontrar en mi camino lindas flores me hace sentir esperanza.
Todo va a pasar y buenos tiempos vendrán. Hemos pasado por tantas cosas rudas que siento que nuestra recompensa será grande y permanente para todos.
A pesar de todo, nos mantenemos optimistas. Es necesario que cuidemos mucho nuestra salud mental.

After witnessing so much sadness and feeling so much fear over the last few weeks, coming across beautiful flowers along the way gives me a sense of hope.
This too shall pass, and better times will come. We’ve been through so many tough times that I feel our reward will be great and lasting for everyone.
Despite everything, we remain optimistic. We really need to look after our mental health.

Esta planta es un cosmos amarillo, las sembraron con la intención de decorar los pequeños espacios de tierra en las aceras, lo cual embellecen aun más el ambiente ante la selva de asfalto y concreto. Tomé las fotos con mucha precaución ya que las abejas hacían su trabajo de polinización.

This plant is a yellow cosmos; it was planted to decorate the small patches of soil on the pavements, which further enhance the surroundings amidst the sea of tarmac and concrete. I took the photos very carefully as the bees were busy pollinating.

Esta planta se conoce en mi paisa como "corona de Cristo" (Euphorbia milii), al igual que la planta anterior la siembran en pequeñas islas entre la acera y el asfalto, están bien cuidadas y las mantienen podadas, se ven muy saludables, además el clima de la zona es uno de los más frescos en mi ciudad ya que está cerca de las montañas. Estas plantas tienen espinas, por lo que se debe tener cuidado acercarse mucho.

This plant is known in my region as ‘Corona de Cristo’ (Euphorbia milii); like the previous plant, it is planted in small patches between the pavement and the road. They are well looked after and kept pruned, and look very healthy. Furthermore, the climate in this area is one of the coolest in my city, as it is close to the mountains. These plants have thorns, so you need to be careful not to get too close.
