Is Florida a Thing Now?

After a few mishaps with our Bonnaroo aspirations over the years, we have decided to come to the beach for a second consecutive summer vacation trip. As much as we love the concert venue, Florida seems to draw us in with its welcoming appeal too. All my lovely ladies are here with me on this break from the monotony and we are loving the salty air!

I find it interesting that you can taste the ocean on your lips when it's so close.

We are staying in an AirBNB at Port St. Joe near the Cape and a stone's throw from the pristine Mexico Beach - which is where we will spend the day today.

I'm not big on swimming in the ocean, I know my limits, but I will wade and fish as much as my shoulders allow! I've already caught one so far! And, with my bare hands. Beat that shit Bill Dance.

We've had tons of fun in the sun so far and the ladies have caught three different kinds of crabs already. They've picked up blue crabs, ghost crabs and even found some hermit crabs all right here on the same beach in the port. We played last night with the ghost crabs, and I was already spent on pictures, but check these ones out:

It was a wonderful first full day of excitement and exploration. The heat isn't too overbearing and the cool breeze across the waves is enough to keep my head level. Especially when you end the day with something like this:

Adorable princess picture there. The goal for the older two was just to be the youngest one's requested snuggle buddies and get up when she fell asleep and play some games, but, it backfired beautifully and I got that frontal lobe image to carry forever. Hope everyone is having and will have a good summer, it's just getting started! Oh ya, REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, because Dream is one of my aliases.
