How to make homemade pizza
The base:
440g white flour (1.9 cups)
300ml warm water (1.3 cups)
7g dried yeasts (1.5 tsp)
1.5 tsp sugar
1 tbsp olive oil
pinch of salt (optional)
METHOD:
In hand hot water, dissolve the sugar, and add the yeast with a pinch of flour. Leave for 5 minutes.
After five minutes, add salt, and oil to the water, and mix briefly before adding the to the centre of the flour in a well.
With an electric dough mixer, mix the well bringing in the flour around the sides. Mix for 5 to 10 minutes until the dough is lighter in colour and has a smoother texture.
Cover and leave in a warm place for 1 hour. Take out and make your pizza base. Leave for another 10 minutes before adding the sauce and topping before putting in the middle of the oven at 210°C (410°F) for about 10-13 minutes.
