From ordinary to a classy phone pouch
Hello gorgeous members of @diyhub community, am thrilled to share with us all the phone case design I made for someone special.
For today's diy, I decided to make a phone case design using yarn for someone. actually I saw this design somewhere and i was so eager to try it out, you know one thing about diyers is that we love to try out new stuff especially when they catches our attention. I actually wanted doing it for myself but then am not a fam of orange color cause I belong to team natural. ๐ honestly the orange is too shawty thats one reason i don't love the color anyways its not mine and the owner does love it so am cool. ๐
So to begin with the phone pouch design, this were the materials I used:
*Yarn
*Glue (super glue)
*Scissor
*Pearl beads
*Phone case
*Razor blade
*Carton
PROCEDURES
Firstly, I had to clean the surface of the phone case so it would be free from dust, after which i carried the carton and began to cut out strips from it. When trying these out it is preferable to use a straight and tiny wooden stick about an inch but I improvise and used carton since the wooden stick was not available. I cut out so many strips from the carton, sizing it with the phone case it self so we get the exact length needed.
Secondly, I took the yarn and one of the strip and began to roll the yarn on it till the strip was properly covered with yarn.
Thirdly, I carried the glue and put it on a straight line on the case afterward I placed the yarn on it and pressed down till it stick firmly.
Fourthly, when it properly sticked, I used a blade to cut the up so I can easily remove the carton strip from inside.
I did same procedure till I covered all the space.
Lastly, I trimmed the top of the yarn with a scissor so it would be equal and lastly I placed the pearl beads on it for beautification using a glue to hold it firm.
Thank you for your time, peace ๐๏ธ
