As I draw near to the hive , I am humming along listening to my good friend introduce me to all of the features and show me around the place. An intriguing concept, why hadn't I seen it before. Looking at social media with fresh eyes, I feel used and abused. Now I am here for you and you are here for me, let's go!

My name is Emily, I have a habit of collecting hobbies and assigning research projects to myself in my spare time. These have been solo endeavors in the past, but I am ready to open up to my hive brothers and sisters and finally share these experiences with others.

By trade I am a registered holistic nutritional consultant and am a perpetual student of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. My newest venture is with freeze-dried fruit juices and we are just getting started with that so I will explore it with you as well every step of the way. Stay tuned as we are expecting our first order any day now.

Actually, plant medicine in general has become a presence in my life that is undeniable and drawing me closer more and more as time passes. I love to explore the land and identify the plants that are inhabiting the 140 acres we live on in the beautiful Annapolis valley.

I want to light you up by sharing what lights me up, and I hope that by connecting into the hive mind I can empower others as I experience my own journey of transformation. This blog is 100% Em-powered from my heart to yours.

Some Labels I have collected: Registered Holistic Nutritional Consultant Co-Founder of a provincial political party, Nova Scotians United Admin of the Annapolis Royal & Area Homeshcoolers I have aphantasia *Side Note* that is " a blind minds eye" I have no visual imagination and my mind is a dark and silent void, a womb of creation if you will. No sound in there either. Silent thoughts come to me and I am guided by those silent knowings as I remain forever in the present moment unable to visualize the future or to replay memories of the past. I have severely dysfunctional autobiographical memory as well as a result of this. This is a motivator for me to keep writing, as a gift to old Emily of memories that I otherwise wouldn't have. Hobbies I enjoy: Avid reader and researcher Woods-dweller and lover of nature. I am competitive and like to play games and go on adventures with my German Shepherd, Lexi. I climb trees, and I have decided that I do not wish to grow up in the stereotypical way that one becomes a grown up and looses all sense of play, so I will never stop having fun and I have come to terms with the fact that my legs look just as battered and bruised as they did when I was 8 and they probably always will as a result of this decision. I am a Light worker, an empowered being who is here to light you up and encourage you to shine your light into this dark world and be who you came here to be. You have been training lifetimes for this I can assure you. Abide with me as we explore this big, beautiful world with gratitude, courage and grace.
