Introductory post

Hello fellow hivers 🤗,

As crypto and blackchain are the buzzwords in this Gen Z, any curious person would want to stay updated on what's trending. So was I, some time ago and other than decentralized internet, cryptocurrencies and their trading, I couldn't grasp much of this concept. Maybe I wasn't curious enough. Anyways, recently a friend of mine recommended to write on Hive. With a new zeal, I researched more about Hive and really loved the concept. Thus, I am writing this introductory post and I really hope that the zeal for writing here continues for a long time 😄.

So I am Manav and I reside in Yamunanagar. It is a city in northern province named Haryana , which is one of the 28 constituent states of India. Currently I am preparing for competitive exams for banking industry.

I really love to travel and I am a mountain person. As Haryana is surrounded by states like Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand which are majorly mountaineous, there is no dearth of amazing hill stations with breathtaking views. My bucket list has a lot of places from these states to visit and I am eager to tick them off soon😅.

​Other than travelling, I have a knack for geopolitics 🌏. I have a keen interest in international relations and that's why I pursued a degree in Political Science. Be it online articles, podcasts, videos or editorials on this theme, I love to scoure them for knowledge. I also like to discuss world politics and I hope to write here on such topics to connect with like minded people. Your opinion(s) and guidance is solicited 😇.

Maps are a similar niche I have an affinity for. I like to study maps and Google Maps is my go-to medium for that. I am Google Maps Local Guide Level 6. Not only do I explore new places, I routinely post reviews of places I have visited. My Maps profile also contains a saved list of random street viewed places around the world that I aspire to visit some day 😁.

Ok, thats a lot of self description for now. As I am new to this world of 'microblogging on blockchain', I wish to learn from experience of my fellow hivers. Suggestions and corrections are always welcome. Hoping to have a positive and enriching experience here 🫶🙏.
