Buffon makes inordinate comments about referee, banned for three matches
Real Madrid went on head to head against Juventus in a Champions League match which saw Juventus fall to the hammer of the former in a match which ended 3-1.
The game also saw Gianluigi Buffon being sent out after receiving a red card from the officiating referee Michael Oliver.
Oliver had awarded a penalty to Real Madrid late into the dying minutes of the game which was the quarter finals match of the champions league competition.
Buffon had disagreed with the referee’s opinion which led to the red card.
In his comments after the match, Buffon stated that Oliver had no heart rather, he had a bag of rubbish.
Due to his foul language and comments, Buffon was banned by UEFA. His match ban would last through three matches.
