Sketch, watercolor version & poem
Last night I did this sketch in pen and then decided to add watercolor. I’m not super comfortable with color in general. The first photo is the sketch, the second photo is after water color, and the third photo is the watercolor edited to be black and white, which is probably my favorite version. This morning I was doing a free writing exercise and a poem came out which I feel is related to this sketch. I’ll include it below.

who delights in the wildness of the forest
Sought equally among people
Send nada through my bones like thunder and rivers
And whisper truth in my ear.
You make pure the most impure residue,
Adorable maiden with swelling breasts
Made of dark emeralds and clothed in blood red petals.
