#RedesignTheWorld Challenge: Make the world a "better-looking" place!
Imagine this. You just got off from the office. You and your buddies are starving. Bummer! But your buddy just happened to know a pizza place that you do not know about. Perfect! And then as you approach the place that this guy is talking about. This is what you see.
Or you just run out of diapers for your child. You went to the nearest convenience store and saw this.
That's just one of the few bad designs in the world we are living. And as a designer, doesn't it pains you to see this designs get through the company's provision? And you can't even do anything about it.
Hey now. We can do something. Let's redesign them and make the world a "better-looking" place. Let companies know that we, graphic designers, are here to provide for them, to help them, to answer their problems with creative solutions and to deliver the message the company is intended to deliver.
Look for designs, may it be products, packages, logos, establishments, ANYTHING! Take a walk in your city. There's a great chance you'll find a bad or EVEN okay designs that you think can do better than it currently is.
Take a picture of it. Explain in your blog why you think it's a bad/okay design.
Show your process on how you came up with the redesign(sketching, colors, fonts, It's up to you. We designers have different process) Show images. images are nice
Show your final output and explain why your redesign does better compared to the former design.
DO NOT FORGET the tag redesigntheworld
This challenge is not intended to mock companies and their products. This is for them to know that Graphic Designers are here willing to work an extra mile to make their company, products and our world a better place.
I can't wait to see your outputs!
