Who am I?

Call me Emaro, even though it's not my real name. I am careful with sharing personal data online. So you won't see a picture of me neither. Nevertheless I will tell you something about me.

I am 21 years old. I was born in Switzerland. At the moment, I live in Berne with my girlfriend. I'm doing an apprenticeship to become a software developer. I have a little brother, he's 19.

This picture is by me. I increased the saturation to make it look more stunning. It shows Lake Bienne, the place where I grew up.

What I like

I'm interested in science and technology. I love reading, sadly I don't have much time for it. When I was a child, I could read the children magazine GEOlino for days. My first GEOlino is from 2001 and I still have it. I like both, good stories and non-fiction books. One of my all time favorites is Eragon (the movie is really bad though).

I'm becoming a developer and like programming. It's like solving an enigma, but in the end you have something useful. If you're curious, I know the programming languages C#, Java, Php, JavaScript and TypeScript. I've also played around with Python and VBA. I dream to develop games in the future. When I was in school, I already did a project with a friend. He made a model of the school-building, which is pretty cool.

Of course I also play games. Primarily Starcraft 2 and Clash Royale.

From times to times I go swimming. I also was in a lifesaving club for a while. I am not very disciplined. I don't go every week, although I should. I sit the whole day in the office or in the school. It would be good to activate the body regularly. Luckily I don't get fat.

I don't drink much alcohol. However I like to smoke weed some times. It's a lot healthier and relaxing than drinking. 😇

How I found Steemit

I am on the social network called Plague, then Plag**, Plag and now Sola. It's special, but lately the quality of the content was not as good as it used to be. Some people on Sola mentioned Steemit. I never heard about that, so I did some research. I wasn't disappointed. The idea sounded good and I decided to give it a try. Here I am.

And now?

I don't have any concept for Steemit. However I'd like to share some content too. I think the result will be a mix of philosophy, technologie, programming and personal thoughts/opinions. I hope that I will find some consistency.

I'm looking forward to an interesing time on this platform.
