Shit! My house got on fire!

Last weekend I was at my parent's home whit my girl, and at night we start up the fireplace.. we stayed there in the warm.. watching tv, having a nice moment!...

at 2h am, we were to the bed, and the fire was calm, with no flame, just embers. We went to bed and I left the fire as it was.. no flames!.. at 3h am I woke up with the sound of a big fire near the wall of my bedroom and also listen to the sound of rocks hitting the floor!

"What the fuck?!!" - I thought,
"what is going on?!!"

When I open the door of my bedroom I just see smoke in the hallway 😱

-Panic mode activated!

"Mom, Dad! The house is on fire!,
The house is on fire!!" 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

They woke up, we get outside, and tried to open a second door (from the outside) which take us to another area of the house where the fireplace was, at that time I called 911, then my father start kicking the door until it opened, smoke and heat started coming out, and at the bottom, we can see a big flame next to the fireplace, that's where we had the pine cones and pine needles, and right next to it, we had a sofa that was already on fire..

Fuck!!

Next to the house, we have a water tap with a hose, which my mother uses to water the plants, I tried to get into the house with the hose to wet the flame, but it was so hot and smokey that I couldn't get in,
we have a small window next to the water tap and luckily the window was open, when I looked inside I saw that the flame was already reaching the ceiling and through that place I managed to wet the sofa and some space around, until a lot of smoke started coming out of that window, meanwhile, my father appears with a fire extinguisher he had in his car!

I managed to enter the house holding my breath and put out as much of the flame as possible, I did this until the bottle was empty.

I put out the flame, but there was a lot of smoke inside, so we waited for the firefighters, who appeared a few minutes later.

Entering the house, the firefighters with all their equipment took the sofas out, and then went around the house to see if everything was ok, they asked us to open all the windows in the house for the smoke to come out, and after a few minutes it was already possible to enter the whole house, and that's when I saw the power of fire and its smoke! 😶

The walls got like this because of the cold water over the flames generating condensation all over the house

Now I'm going to need help, thanks to some friends we've already managed to clean the walls, but the ceiling is still completely black, the painter has already given a budget of approximately 2000€ to paint the house, dammn! But I know that with the help of good friends anything is possible!

So guys, be careful!!
Don't put too much stuff near the fireplace, everything that is flammable put it away, and whenever you go to bed, make sure the fire is off.
