Gorgeous sky tonight

Went outside to see if the sunset would be any good tonight and was met by this stunning array.

So i grabbed my dog and daughter to come share the experience with me and we drove to the beach. The drive there was spectacular but by the time we were ready to photograph - many of the clouds were no longer light up bright pink.

Still the orange and gold glow of the setting sun made the trip worthwhile.

Once the clouds stopped reflecting the sun and the sun itself bid us fairwell, we returned home. Upon our return & much to our surprise the sky lit up again!

There was a very thin veil of white cloud sitting much higher than the grey clouds that had glowed pink earlier, and those white clouds were now reflecting gorgeous colours.

Had to get the dig in one of the pictures 🤣.

No filters used and all pictures taken on an Iphone 14.
