We need to exercise / Necesitamos hacer ejercicio

Hace algunos meses al tratar de subir las escaleras del metro me detuve varias veces para tomar aire. Al lado mío mi compañera de trabajo, Julia, estaba en la misma situación. Un esfuerzo sobrehumano nada más para subir las escaleras. La vida en la oficina, frente a una computadora te destroza la salud casi sin darte cuenta. Ese día prometimos comer menos para bajar unos kilos, pero unos más tarde aún teníamos que detenernos un par de veces.

Ni hablar, tenemos que empezar a hacer ejercicio.

A few months ago, while trying to climb the subway stairs, I stopped several times to catch my breath. My coworker, Julia, was in the same boat. It was a superhuman effort just to get up the stairs. Office life, staring at a computer, is destroying your health almost without you realizing it. That day we promised to eat less to lose a few pounds, but a few days later we still had to stop a couple of times.
