Los cambios | the changes
-Es que estoy asustada, con miedo.
-Tranquila.
No exploraré.
No insistiré.
No es rendirme,
ni cansancio,
ni fatiga.
No.
Veo señales que dicen: disfruta y espera. Todo saldrá bien.

—I’m scared. Afraid.
—It’s okay. Everything passes. Remember what has already changed: those who were free no longer are. Those who were here are no longer here. And what once seemed impossible is now reality.

Todo cambia is a song that, in Mercedes Sosa’s voice, marked me deeply.
There have been many changes. Thankfully, not for the worse.
To change is to grow.
It happens when what sustains you no longer works:
an idea,
a relationship,
an environment,
a job.
To change means
trying in order to continue.
Exploring.
Seeing options.
Deciding.
Accepting.
I moved as many times as the air I breathed became heavy—
from house to house, city to city, country to country.
I knew as many loves as lips I kissed. I searched for complementarity until I chose the one who chose me.
My hands have created so many things…
My vocation dissolved among care, teaching, guiding, sales, marketing, and writing.
My ideas are constant A/B, B/C, C/A tests…
While my emotions swing like a yo-yo,
to the rhythm of endless scrolling on my phone.
How many times can you start from zero?
As many as necessary.
If you don’t try, you can disappear.
Today, change demands the opposite.
No options.
No tests.
No adventures.
It simply asks you to be.
Without breaking structures.
Without ending relationships.
Without moving.
Without searching.
It asks me to accept myself now—
as I am: grown, experienced, wise, and faithful.
A cycle closes, its doors shut on their own, and I will not open them again.
I will not explore.
I will not insist.
This is not giving up.
Not exhaustion.
Not fatigue.
No.
I see signs that say: enjoy and wait.
Everything will be fine.
