Motivating Them To Try Is So Important

Helping kids build self-confidence is paramount as they grow in life. There are different temperaments that exist. Every adult was once a kid, so these different temperaments come into play from childhood to adult age.

Their temperaments notwithstanding, they need to grow from the point of ***"I can't" to "I'll try." Growing to this point requires a lot of sacrifice from the parents who are deliberately seeking the advancement of the children.Giving kids some room to try helps them to grow to the point of self-reliance.

Many parents train their kids to always depend on them for basically everything, and that makes it somehow difficult to help themselves when they are outside the home. Coming to this point is not automatic; it starts little by little. Kids need to be given little tasks at a time and then monitored to be sure they carry them out.

When the kids say they can't, it is good to encourage them to give it a try. What I do with my kids is I encourage them to try it first, or when it requires they think, I support them to think. As time progresses, they tell themselves, "Let me try first," or "Allow me some time to think."

Deep within me there is this joy that comes in. Kindness is a good virtue that all parents and guidance need to possess, especially those that are looking forward to seeing drastic growth of the kids.
