3 THINGS I WISH I KNEW WHEN I STARTED MY CAREER AS AN ARTIST

August makes it almost seven years since my first studio session and my decision to pursue a career in music.
I knew next to nothing about the music or the music business and i have often wondered what might have been if i started my career armed with everything i have learnt so far.
Most people chasing a career as an artist do so solely based off a love and passion for the art without being willing to study and understand what exactly they are getting themselves into.
I am making this post for the 15 year old me who wondered if it was possible and what it would take to become the next Wizkid or burna boy.
For everyone with a love and passion for music who is trying to figure out how to make it work, i have not figured it all out yet, but this is what i have learnt so far and i hope it helps you on your journey.
