Hi beautiful people!
How's everyone doing? I hope you're all fine and well. It's been a while already since I posted my last blog. I missed you guys. A lot of things happened and I just lost interest in writing and sharing my thoughts. But glad that my partner, my support system, my buddy, and number cheered, my babi, encouraged me to post again and get back on track. So, here I am sharing with you snippets of my life.
Allow me to share with you guys some snaps of our Moalboal Sardines Run experienced last month. It was a long overdue plan and finally, we were able to make it. Never did I regret enrolling freediving last February, for I was able to experience swimming with the sardines and exploring the beauty underwater. A close-up look at the sardines is a surreal feeling.
It was August 19, Saturday, to be exact, when all of these unexplainable feelings and excitement happened. Babi's car wasn't available at that time for one of his clients rented it so she opted to use her friend's car. We left the City around 4:00 in the morning. We just fetched Donna and Sharon at their place. Donna already contacted a professional diver/tour guide who was waiting for our arrival at Panagsama.
It was almost 8:00 a.m. when we arrived at the place. We didn't waste any time, as soon as we arrived at the parking area, we changed our clothes brought all our gear, and proceeded to the beach. We were all so excited and thrilled. We paid Php 100 for the entrance fee.
It was a bit crowded for it was a long weekend but we didn't mind it all. We just enjoyed our diving sesh. The current was so strong that it took us meters away every after-dive from the sardine sanctuary. The current took almost all our energy but it still didn't stop us. We kept diving and swimming with the mesmerizing sardines. We didn't want to stop but the clocks ticking, it was almost lunchtime time so our tour guide brought us to the mermaid statue.
We just took a few shots for the gram. Hahaha
I wasn't able to enjoy the mermaid statue for my body battery was almost drained already. Lol
It was a fulfilling and one of the most memorable experiences I had this year. I will surely be back for you, Moalboal.
