I shouldn't ruin the spirit and the magic of it all, but this, looping in one sequence, takes at least 16 hours...

Like for 2 full days, you gonna try to get that perfect sound. If something fails, you have to start again...From the beginning!!

If I can compare it to something, it's like landing one of these complicated trick shots or doing a crazy jump with a flip on your skateboard.

It takes forever to get a full version. Sometimes you get the music right, but then you start forgetting the lyrics. Sometimes you just forget to press the right button at the right time or to record the right thing.

Nothing is left to improvisation, and in the end, it's actually super fun, and very satisfying when it works...

There are moments when I give up, take a short break, and get back to it. I did 3 "good versions", but this one was by far superior.
When you have a good version, logic is you wanna stop, but I am never fully satisfied until there's a moment when you hit that sweet spot when you know "this is the one".

I think I am improving while doing that, pretty cool!

So yeah sorry for not being active too much on hive, I am trying to push that looping thing, I really enjoy it, I hope it was worth the investment.
I know that I am getting the hang of it now, so hopefully people will appreciate it as much as I do.

The cool thing is now I am also using it on my own songs, for live performances. Next step is to get an effect pedal for the guitar, and a few more things to improve live sound, like a DI box, a switch to be able to switch off the mic when not needed, and also hopefully getting a brand new sound card for better recording, because the loop station is plugged straight up in my phone, quite impressive if you ask me.

Dang it's like 2am and I've been just practicing for the live streaming on Friday, it's exciting really, trying to play all in all sort of way, sometimes it's really a hit and miss though. You gotta experiment!
