What a rewarding experience
to encounter this endemic tree from the Philippines while trekking in the forest of Mt. Isarog.
This rare myrtle that gives a purple bloom in the woods and is known for its quality timber and lovely paniculate flowers.
While this species is near-threatened, I wish to come back during seedfall to help propagate.
