Ecobank proudly marches forward in Q2 2026!

While our progress has been slow some years (see all previous reports here), 2026 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for ECOBANK Development Colombia SAS as we get into Quarter 2 of the year.

Our ECOBANK token is currently holding around $1.40 in our pool - HSBIDAO:ECOBANK. Yes, thats ~22.6 HIVE at these prices. HSBIDAO is a completely HP-backed token, it pays dividends (even when in the pool), and has recently been integrated into the new Hive account@three.legacy game, which has generated some sustainable buy pressure on the token.

This is right on time and right in line with our goals for 2026 - finally some deep and real, dynamic, continuous liquidity, now steady as the 20th deepest pool on Hive-Engine! With HIVE price so low, we are not offended by HIVE-maxis seriously considering the trade as we continue to move up.

Let's take a look at the state of our token. Our original raise attempt minted 250,000 Ecobank tokens - and over the last several months we have been engaging in buybacks as available and as part of getting our liquidity pool into position.

What are our plans moving forward?

We have big plans this year, hopefully selling our hotel as mentioned previously, but also doing a deal that involves trading our ECOBANK tokens for more land.

This deal - its a big deal - is very exciting for us, and is proposed as following, using 122,000 of the minted but non-circulated tokens to bring the full 80 hectare property into our company:

One of the other interesting results of a deal like this will be to position us a lot better if we end up selling our hotel "quickly". To have more land than ever, and cash on hand - that will be a very great position to find ourselves in!

Slow and Steady wins the Race (even in Crypto)

I have had so many emotions over the years about ECOBANK. Frequently it has occurred to me that I probably did not need to do all this extra work at all, I could have just managed my own portfolio (which I have to do anyway). But 2026 is shaping up to be a very good year for our project, and what is coming highlights some of the benefits we were tracking and aiming for when we set this all up in the first place.
