In these curves all values between 3 and 97 percentile are considered normal. The 50th percentile is the standard value and indicates the average child size. 3rd percentile The shortest or weakest normal child is the 97th percentile, the longest or overweight normal child. For example; If a 3-month-old baby's weight equals 35, the weight is more than 35% of the girls in that age and less than 65%.

What is important in perspective is that your baby's consistency within the percentage of its developmental process is itself consistent. If you are worried about your baby's growth curve, consult your doctor.
