I Will Arise With Him / Thoughtful daily post week #40

Good day friends happy Easter and at the same time i welcome you into memorable week of sober reflection, a week of digging deep into the death of Jesus Christ.

Well this holy week cannot pass without us the Christians celebrating it in our own different ways and as it will please us, we all have memories of how ,what, where and when. I know many are going to celebrate in the town or village while others in the orphanage homes oh just the way i and my husband visited a well known orphanage home called peace sisters some days ago and i have known there for so many years back even during my NYSC we visited them, but to my greatest surprise getting there that last week it was no longer as it used to be, we met few children unlike before children will full the whole place when i ask the son to the owner of peace sisters, he said the reason is because mummy is old and sick now and can no longer take care of the children again and i asked him the second time what about you the children, he said they are not interested in that and besides to there mummy it was a calling and now she's retired and cannot handle the children again, they her children has informed the government about that and that was why we are seeing few of them left, that the government has pulled many of them out remains here are the disabled ones
But why did the government not take all the children at the same time well this is a story for next time i cried each time i remember this but that didn't stop us from giving them the things we brought for them then we left

But those years when i was small staying with granny and we attended Methodist Church, oh the holy week was seeing as dying and rising with Jesus it was awesome those years just demonstrating it how it's in the Bible. There are Sunday we went to church with palm leaves as a sign of his entering to Jerusalem infact all through April then was about Jesus, his betrayal, killed, crucified, buried and his resurrection, how he suffered for us all

The resurrection day is the big day almost every house will cooked rice with chicken, it was a day relatives and friends visited each other's house eat and merry together with their children, because this normally happened during holidays and those days there was love among family members and in the community at large not like today were you have hatred and enmity in and out the society. so painful that such love is no longer in existence now, brothers and sisters, aunties and uncles no longer relates well like before and they have as well pass this hate to their children and it is lingering. So my advice is as we celebrate this present Easter let us allow forgiveness and love to rule over us our friends and families just as Christ has shown to us all
