Keeping a Journal ✨
In a generation where almost everyone is on social media, the idea of making Journal seems less interesting nowadays. Wherein you can wite a post in Facebook on how your day went, post some awesome pictures to Instagram about your memorable experience and Tweet your worries and distress in Twitter. Instant. In just a snap you can record and let the whole world know what's happening in your life. But as for me, doing it in a traditional way is still the most genuine and fun thing to do. So before 2020 starts, I promise myself to make a Journal for myself.
A sneak peak to the 1st page of my Journal
At first, my main goal why I wanted to do Journaling is to be able to timelapse aesthetic spreads and show how cool is that. Oh please, we all wanted a minimalist asthetic theme journal. Funny isn't? But yeah, that's the truth about it.
Another thing that hype me up as I start my Journal is the color pantone of the year which is Classic Blue. I loveee the color Blue. 💙 It's definitely one of my favorite color.
I am really exicted to start my Bullet Journal!! Feels like I will be able to unleash my creativity at the same time, I can practice my brush, pointed and black letter calligraphy. I also wanted to do some watercolor painting for my BuJo. *This is my first time to do a DIY journal so I just use my spare Rhodia Pad and customize it. I think this is a good and ideal pad for journaling as well
I also made my own diy color pantone scheme and attached it to the 2nd page of my Jounral
Also included a quote from *Morgan Harper Nichols, and can I say that I love her so much? Her poems and works really speaks to me and inspires me a lot. It helped me keep doing during those tough times. So before I truly start my January spread, I decided to write one of Morgan's work about getting older *oh you know Adulting.
I just thought that I'll be needing some motivational poem in the start of my Journal to helo me keep going. Consistency is the key.
Well I guess that's it for now. I'll surely share my January Spread on the next posts.
