Bioparc Valensia

Dear Hive friends, I will be free to recommend a tour of one location to any of you who are tourists visiting Valencia.
Such an interesting, beautiful zoo, the first of its kind that I have seen in my life, should not be missed by anyone who spends even one day in Valencia.

At the entrance to the park there is a huge elephant sculpture (made of wood), with the name of the park “Bioparc”.

I will not dwell in detail on the description of the pictures of all the animals I saw there, that is, the pictures of the animals that I have now shared with you, and I will not write to you about the types of animals, their origin, lifestyle, etc.
I will try to bring you closer to what I see for the first time...
And I will focus on two stories in more detail.

I think this zoo is unique because of the natural barriers. almost nowhere you can see fences, bars, padlocks and doors...
The area where the animals stay is surrounded by natural barriers. Camera walls, water obstacles, trenches...

And the animals walk around that large fenced area as if they were in their natural habitat. Phenomenal.

The tour of “Madagascar”, a water surface of a separate area, made the strongest impression on me, so you get the impression that you are really on an island. And Madagascar is the habitat of what kind of animals? You don't know?
Well, it's a Lemur.
What interesting animals. They freely walk on the paths next to visitors, lazing in the sun, absorbing the heat with their bellies, climbing trees...

You can take pictures next to them or take pictures of them (as long as you don't scare them by turning on the flash), but you are not allowed to touch them, especially not theirs tails that hang like decorations under the branches of the trees on which they rest.

And another attraction that was fantastic for me - the animal show.
In the open amphitheater, trained animals (eagle, pig, peacock, woodpecker...) perform for the visitors a show that you will remember all your life.

The birds that have been set free, do not think of flying outside the auditorium complex, after the finished performance, they return to their hiding places...

in this zoo, for me, as a person from the city, is displayed as closely as possible and as accurately as possible (in city conditions) the natural habitat of elephants, rhinos, zebras, giraffes, lions, tigers, antelopes, wild boars, hippopotamuses, flamingos, lemurs, and eagles , vulture, gorilla, chimpanzee, crocodile, otter, snakes, lizards, spiders and various reptiles and amphibians...

An interesting indicator of the weight of gorillas depending on their gender or age...

There is also a board with the names of the elephants.

When I come back to Valencia again, this zoo will definitely be on my itinerary, whether I come alone or with my favorite female companions.
