Rejoining Old School Runescape

I decided to bite the bullet and finally purchase membership back to Old School Runescape! I was contemplating it for a while, but I was unsure If I could invest the time to play as membership in OSRS costs in game currency, which is a big plus to playing the game.

If you can earn the in-game gold back, in the membership timeframe it's very efficient and kind of inspires me to play and try to earn back that membership cost and then some!

I bought 1000 snapdragon seeds when I redeemed my membership (14 days long) for just under 45m gp, quite a costly investment I did intend to flip them which I used to do and enjoyed doing to earn some quick coin but in my absence of playing I was unaware they raised the item tax from 1% to 2%. So it looks like I'll be keeping them and aiming to plant them all, at least that gives me some motivation to do my herb farm runs. 😂

Thankfully doing a quick farm run over 10 herb patches earns me about double the investment every time so it's well worth doing and of course I'm still 98 herblore, a level off max and I've been self sufficient in farming my own supply to create potions, be a long grind but fun!

I'm aiming to level up my construction once more too so I can obtain the best alter for my home and stop needing to hop worlds and gain access to better player owned homes, been putting it off for a long time but would be good to obtain finally. I've been trying to farm my own blood rune supply which about 5000 is required to craft the alter and I sold all my blood runes last time I played, so time to farm some back!

Doing one run of blood runes nets us about 72k in gold which isn't too bad, a lot of savings in the long run doing this myself instead of purchasing outright the runes. 310 per run though is a lot better, do this about 15 times and I have my quantity!

I've also been doing bird house runs which earn a tonne of gold in the long run and using the bird houses for potions is also a possibility to level up my herblore, they're so quick to do. They take less than a minute and can earn me upwards of around 50k-400k which is amazing. You can collect your bird houses every 50 minutes, so it adds up quite quickly.

I'm also contemplating grinding out the last quests I have to do before obtaining my quest cape back, been a long time since I last played properly!
