ProShot: A DSLR-Camera App For Your Phone

My latest video.

I started working on this a few months ago, and thought it would be a quick and easy video because I initially recorded the audio with my phone.
However, the audio just wasn't good enough so I ended up re-recording a lot of stuff.
I ended up with a HUGE video, but I cut it down to just 12 minutes because my Android videos usually don't get a lot of love on Youtube.

Awesome Features, But It'll Cost 'Ya:

ProShot is a $7.99 one-time purchase app for both Android & iPhones that gives you a wide range of features like those of DSLR cameras used by professional & enthusiast photographers.
Including the ability to shoot in both RAW & JPEG or either of the two as well as Apple's Pro-RAW for iPhone.
It even adds the option to shoot in flat or log for videos.

RAW is ideal for image processing & development with suites like Adobe's Lightroom, Darktable, or Raw Therapee because you have all of the data captured by your camera's sensor.

LOG is standard for film-makers who are color-correcting video to give it the look/feel they envision.
For instance, 1999's The Matrix has that green wash. Many crime/drama films will use a hint of blue, and it's also typical for film to demonstrate a change in time/location with color as well. Many movies that show Mexico will color the footage in orange/reddish tones.

Beyond that ProShot gives you manual adjustment over the focus, and spot metering & locking for exposure. It features a histogram, and allows switching individually between multiple lenses on flagship models that include them.
There's even Kelvin manual white-balance, but not all features are available on all Android models.
For testing before you purchase there's ProShot Evaluator; a separate free app.

The Interface:

You can fine-tune and adjust on-the-fly: Focus, Shutter, ISO light sensitivity, and white-balance.

Dials: Mode & Drive

Proshot sports automatic, program, manual, and two custom modes.
As well as photo, video, slow-motion, light-painting, and time-lapse drives.
