Update on BAT

The last update I had on Brave and it's related coin BAT was three months ago in November 2019. Here follows the latest update on user increase and BAT circulation supply.

Brave Users

We saw a nice uptick in the price of brave over the last week which can be accredited to the increasing growth of Brave Browser users. In the past the user growth rate was approximately 500k users every month and a half (monthly users) but it has more recently grown with more than 750k users over the same time. The recent jump in monthly users can be seen in the below graph.

BAT Price & Circulation Supply

Like I've stated previously, the increase in the circulation supply from December 2018 is due to the brave browser kicking off and rewarding users. The price and circulation supply can be seen in the below graph.

The last time I did this exercise inflation was estimated at 13.3% per year but this increased to 15% per year on this update. An additional 186 million BAT coins were included into the circulation supply over the period of a year. From December 2018 approximately 1.21 billion coins were in circulation which increased to 1.43 billion to date.
