Hello all! Thought I would introduce myself!
Happy New Year everyone!
I am so excited to start 2022 off by introducing myself to this amazing community of artists! I'm excited to discover this space, thanks to wonderful photographers such as 
My name is Jess and I am a 36-year-old professional photographer, storm chaser, and meteorologist based out of Colorado. I have been chasing and documenting storms for over a decade, capturing atmospheric beauty with my camera and sharing it with the world! Most people think of storms as being ugly and destructive, and they certainly can be. But I hope to show a different side of storms; one that is both breathtakingly beautiful, and powerfully awe-inspiring!
When I embark upon a storm chasing adventure, there is nothing that fills my soul with more excitement and anticipation. Just the very act of driving off toward the barren, vast prairies of the Great Plains of the U.S. lets me know that I am home. I am where my heart and soul are free.
I arrive to my target area after hours of in-depth forecasting, and I'm greeted by blue skies and empty wheat fields. The wind whips my hair and moisture caresses my skin. The blue sky is Mother Nature's blank canvas, and I feel the anticipation build; I can't wait to see what she paints in the skies today.
I began my journey into NFTs this past June, and I have been completely absorbed within this amazing community and space ever since. While sales were slow going initially, in August my career really took off, and I've found myself with a sustainable income driven from selling my storm art! Never in a million years did I imagine this could be possible.
I feel really fortunate to be here. I'm so excited to see where this journey takes me. Web3 is opening a world of possibility where we can all grow and thrive as artists in a way none of us ever could have imagined. I'm glad to be here from the early stages and I can't wait to get more involved with the photography communities here. Thank you all for letting me be a part of this incredible journey!
