#Ulog01: Making Hanging Rice

Every time I saw a hanging in the market, i turn back the time when i was a child between 5 or 6 years old. This is what we called "PUSO" because there's no rice yet inside. My mother taught me how to make it. The first place where my family live first, a lot of my neighbors loves to eat hanging rice. One of my neighbor thought to make and sell. They paid me for helping them making a "PUSO".

How to make it: Needed..coconut leaves, of course choose the young ones and rice. and .For you to get a coconut leaves, you have to climb this high coconut tree. hahahahaha..it's not easy...Then, separate the stick from the leaves. After, you have to form the leaves into "PUSO".. This video showed how to do it and this is how it looks like . Of course, rice is ready, put a rice into the "PUSO",. Level it into two center side. Then, lock it so that the rice will not came out. Tied it into 10 pieces. After, boiled it within 20 minutes. .It should be boiled at the given time. This is the product. and Slice it. . This is now ready to eat. . Hanging rice may prepare in any occasions like birthdays , fiesta, and going to beach for an outing etc. for me, hanging rice is easy to bring rather than to cook a rice in a cooking bowl. no need to bring a storage for rice. "PUSO" can bring it with a hands.

Our family usually do it in all occassions. We're having fun doing it.
