Two Sided Decisions
When comparing assets, you must recognize the reality of value change over time. There are very few absolute standards of measure. Fiat currencies change values rapidly. Crypto currencies are worse. Then there is the situational issue of value. How much do you need a banana? How much is clean fresh water worth? The value of everything depends on the situation.
I am currently powering down my Steem. Why... I don’t know yet. Just in case the situation requires fast liquidity is my best answer.
Powering down takes time. Liquid Steem allows me to have options for any situation.
The downside is my loss of short term influence. My voting power is lowered which is already suffering because of price drops.
My strategy is to get prepared for anything. Life curves.
