Today we are implementing quite a few changes for how DLive Community is functioning which we hope will improve the experience for all of our users. In fact these changes are so big that we've decided to refund all membership fees that were paid on @dlivecommunity to reset our membership to those wanting these features alone.

That doesn't mean the service is ending though. In fact we hope this will make us even better at what we were hoping to accomplish!

Big Changes

Pricing Change

The first major change to announce is that we've sliced our pricing in half! For a one month membership you can now subscribe for only 1 STEEM and lifetime membership has been cut to only 60,000 VESTS.

DLive Content Only

The second major change is that @dlivecommunity will now be able to align better with our mission by only resteeming and upvoting content that is posted for #dlive. Considering when we originally launched we said that we would handle content regardless of it's origination we've decided to refund all existing users. Since we've now been given the tools to focus on our core community, we don't want anyone to feel like we swept the rug out from under you by removing so much content from being eligible for an upvote.

Upvote Percentage

As we strive to increase our membership it will become impossible to ensure that everyone is receiving a 100% upvote each time you stream. That's why we will now be restructuring our upvote weight % to be variable on the # of members we have streaming. This will lead to a lower vote at times but will ensure that everyone continues to receive an upvote regularly.

Resteeming & Comments

This has actually begun to start happening over the past few days already but whenever @dlivecommunity rotates to upvote your post, it will also resteem your stream and leave a comment for increased exposure. We hope this brings you even more viewers to share your content with!

Flag Signalling

While spam has yet to be a major problem for our community I want to ensure we stay on top of it. That's why we will be introducing flag signalling from spaminator, cheetah, steemcleaners and mack-bot. This will ensure that if one of these accounts flags a post before we upvote then we will not upvote it due to the likelihood that the post is spam.

Membership Notification Transfer Memos

If you send 0.001 Steem to @dlivecommunity it will confirm your membership status by sending a reply memo with a membership status update. This is useful if you can't remember if your membership is up to date.

Discord Bots

We've decided to make our Discord bots available to everyone on our Discord. There were some issues with the membership not syncing with the Discord so we've decided to open this feature up to everyone. Grab your upvotes by registering at discord.dlive.community!
