Revisiting Banh Mi Boys In Toronto

I revisit Banh Mi Boys in downtown Toronto for a quick lunch. Even though there is a lot of competition in the Toronto food industry, I think Banh Mi Boys is a hidden gem and strong alternative to McDonalds, Five Guys, Shake Shack, Burger King, Jolibee, etc.

Banh Mi Boys is a Toronto franchise that specializes in Banh Mi sandwiches and other Baos. The Vietnamese restaurant have different types of Banh Mi sandwiches with different meat choices.

They have been around since 2011 and have a few locations in Toronto.

Original Banh Mi Special Sale On Sunday/Monday

It has been a while since I have visited this place in Toronto. They now have Deals of The Week for each weekday. This is new.

On Sundays and Monday, you can get an Original Banh Mi sandwich for 5 CAD (plus tax). The original price of this is 7 CAD. A lunch under 10 CAD is rare these days, let alone 5 CAD. I wouldn't want to have this everyday as it is not healthy. Every once in a while is okay.

This original Banh Mi is okay. Not bad and not great. Getting this deal for 5 CAD is really, really good in these inflationary times. Lunch meals in Toronto are usually in the 10 to 20 CAD range.

Rating: 7.5 out of 10. I would revisit this place again but go for one of my usual Grilled Chicken Banh Mi or the Kalbi Beef Banh Mi.
