Pokemon TCG Pocket - One Year Anniversary

I thought about putting this in Hive Gaming but this is more a news thing. Instead I did not categorize this post.

As of October 30, 2025, it has been one year since the launch of Pokemon TCG Pocket. This Pocket game is a scaled down version of the physical Pokemon Trading card game. Games in pocket are shorter and the cards are all digital in game.

You can collect cards and battle other players online. Those who are free to play players can still collect cards as long as you are active. Those who want the cards faster will purchase Poke Gold to reduce the wait times of opening in game packs. Those who are impatient, addicted or interested in content creation for this game are willing to pay.

From these numbers, there has been a lot of activity in this game. Something that is not easy to get is the conversion rate from TCG Pocket players to the actual physical trading card game. This conversion rate statistic could be interesting. Maybe the original intent behind this mobile game was to advertise and try to get people into the physical card game.
