Pokemon's Perfect Order Prerelease Decks Early Info & Strategy

Hi there. It turns that more information got released and leaked about the prerelease decks for Pokemon's Perfect Order set. This set releases on Friday March 27, 2026 with prerelease events starting as early as Saturday March 14, 2026.

I don't know how but some people are leaking information about the prerelease pre-constructed decks and cards before Saturday March 14, 2026.

I do some research on Reddit and Youtube to find out some deck information. Being able to know what cards are in each decks helps with gameplay so you don't go into these totally blind.

There is a Reddit post on the PTCGL subreddit that showcases the list of cards in the set. I think it is in Spanish.

There will be reprints of:

• Poke Ball
• Judge
• Energy Search
• Crushing Hammer
• Potion

I think these reprinted cards will have the regulation mark of J. Older versions of these cards are standard play tournament legal two weeks after the March 27, 2026 release.

Serperior, Barbaracle, Doublade Decks Leak?

There is another Reddit post which shows the decklists of 3 of the 4 prerelease constructed decks in the Build and Battle Kit boxes. I don't know if this is actually true. The pictures looks like decklist images and not the actual cards.

Serperior Deck (40 Cards)

This preconstructed deck does not include any copies of Poke Pad. This is a sought after card for standard play. Poke Pad is a new staple card especially when Nest Ball leaves standard format in early April 2026.

For this deck, you want to pull more Honedge, Doublade and Aegislash. In the standard format, you can do a maximum of 4 copies of a card. When it comes to prerelease events, you can go past 4 copies.

This Chilean dude is pretty helpful when it comes to Pokemon prerelease videos. I don't know how he gets product but he has videos of himself opening Build and Battle Kits for Perfect Order. Two of his videos were posted on March 11, 2026. This is 4 days before prerelease events are legally held.

Video One: Early Unboxing Perfect Order Prerelease Kit

In this video, the Youtuber shows two decks. These are Doublade and Barbaracle.

It appears that there is a new Trainer card. The English name is not known. This Pala Cavahayos Item cards lets you discard the top 2 cards of your deck. If you get unlucky then you may discard cards that cannot be recovered.

In this video, the Youtuber goes through the Serperior preconstructed deck. He also opens packs. To my surprise, there is a Pokemon Catcher reprint.

Thero Dactilo has another Youtube video related to the Perfect Order Prerelease cards and decks.

I skimmed through the first 30 minutes of the video as he was on the Pokebeach website.

Later in the video, there are decklist images. There are also deck variations you can use if you pull the necessary cards. These are helpful.

Tyrantrum Deck

What stands out in a bad way is that there are 3 Basic Pokemon in the 3 Hawlucha. The chances of you getting a mulligan (no Basic Pokemon in starting 7 cards) is kind of high. A high mulligan rate gives the opponent a good chance of drawing extra cards before turn 1. I would include more Hawlucha or more Basic Pokemon while removing something 2 or 3 Energy.

Serperior deck has no Poke Pads but the prerelease deck looks to be really strong.

Tyrantrum deck needs adjustments and may have a slow setup but you get 4 Poke Pads. (One Poke Pad from Ascended Heroes in the Toronto area is 8 CAD to 12 CAD. They are hard to get too.)

Doublade deck seems broken if you manage to get more of its evolution line.

Barbaracle deck seems kind of weak but you get 2 PokePad. Mega Zygarde ex as a big attacker could help out if you get lucky from the packs.

This Perfect Order Prerelease seems interesting. There will be Youtube videos that will talk about how to win these events. Winning the event means getting first but there will be a second or third person that gets 3 wins and 0 losses after 3 games. For me, my goal is to get playable cards and play well enough to get at least 1 win and extra packs. I typically aim for 2 wins. Winning all 3 best of one games is not that easy as you need some luck.

There are definitely wild cards (pun somewhat intended) at this event. Some person could get lucky pulls that have Mega Pokemon, someone could get lucky with Pokemon Catcher and/or Judge. There may be a few people who may switch cards with someone else. This may be against the rules or not, it depends on the store.

I hope this information helps those who plan on attending the Perfect Order prerelease events. These events are mostly casual and many people who attend have a goal of getting cards. There is no really need to go super hard. You can still want to do well but don't go too crazy.
