Hello everyone, welcome to Hive open mic weekly music festival, I'll be doing a music cover for Igwe by Mercy Chinwo. This song is one of those worship songs that reminds us of the greatness of God and his faithfulness. "Igwe" means a King or a great leader by the Igbos in Nigeria, so many people may call God different names but to my understanding there is no name that can best describe who God truly is. He is greater than words may describe him.

In Nigeria we call him Igwe. I don't know what you call God in your language. I'll encourage you to sing along as we call him Igwe, lifting God as the King and acknowledging that He alone deserves all glory.

Hola a todos, bienvenidos al festival semanal de música con micrófono abierto de Hive. Hoy interpretaré una versión de «Igwe» de Mercy Chinwo. Esta canción es una de esas canciones de alabanza que nos recuerdan la grandeza de Dios y su fidelidad. «Igwe» significa rey o gran líder en la lengua igbo de Nigeria.
