KL F1 flash back part 2
Hi Hivers when I did the post for the last F1 race in Malaysia at Sepang in 2017 a few days ago I realised I had a few more photos than I realised, over 500,so I thought I’d better share a few more. Dont worry I’m not going to inflict them all on you.
Sepang is a great place for spectators the main grand stand runs in the middle of the two main straights and gives great views.
@scubahead and
@millycf1976 picked a good spot.
And the large open grass areas are great for viewing too if you dont mind sitting on the grass.
It does take a while to get the timing right taking photos on the pit straight
But its satisfying when you get it right
One for the Tiffoci fast or slow the red cars alway look great. Kimi’s penultimate year in a Ferrari.
Maclaren Honda looked good sounded awful. Real bag of nails off the throttle no wonder Alonso was pissed off that year.
On the Friday it was easy to get a view opposite the pits to watch them working on the cars.
Loudest noise of the weekend I nearly crapped myself when these went over.
Williams it been a while since they were competitive but always good looking cars.
Sepang is only an hour from Kula Lumper so its easy to travel in every day and enjoy some sightseeing.
Lastly Hivers my favourite photo of them all Lewis in the wet.
