For anyone thinking of using Trezor with IDEX…read on please.

If you deposit using trezor then you won't be able to trade or withdraw normally on the IDEX website. You will need to wait 100,000 blocks (or roughly 14-20 days) from your last action on IDEX (deposit, withdrawal, or trade) then you can initiate a manual withdraw from IDEX using MEW.

Your funds aren't lost but you won't be able to get them out of IDEX normally since the IDEX current contract doesn't support trezor signatures. After 100,000 blocks have passed if you need any help withdrawing manually from the contract on MEW reach out to the IDEX team.

There's a function on the IDEX smart contract so users can withdraw their funds from it without withdrawing from the IDEX website itself. Called ‘escape hatch’, but it essentially serves as a peace of mind feature for users so that regardless of what happens to the IDEX website their funds are never trapped in the contract.
