Hiking in Austin

Austin, Texas is a great city for hiking! There are many trails in the area. We have a really neat smaller park in our neighborhood called Yett Park. The address is 12520 Riata Vista Circle, 78727. This is the Duval/183 area in North Austin. The trails are short and it's an easy hike. It's great for dog walking and riding bikes too. These pictures are from May 2017 after we had a bit of rain. It was the first time we had seen this much water at the crossings.

Trails like the Barton Creek Greenbelt and Walnut Creek are often very crowded and it's sometimes hard to find parking. This is a nice alternative in the evening when I have limited time.
