Ayuda para Venezuela (Dona como puedas) [ENG-ESP]

Hola, soy Ale y vivo en Yaracuy Venezuela donde fue el epicentro del terremoto este pasado 24 de junio. Gracias a Dios en mi casa no hubo mayor daño y toda mi familia y amigos están bien, sin embargo hay mucha gente tanto de aquí de yaracuy como de otros lugares de Venezuela que perdieron todo, familia, amigos, sus casas, sus pertenencias y sobre todo estas últimas dos las menciono por algo y es que se dice que lo importante es estar vivo, de eso no hay duda, pero los venezolanos sabemos lo mucho que nos cuesta conseguir nuestros propios bienes materiales por lo cual me parece que también es relevante hacer mención que si ves alguna imagen o vídeo de alguien llorando por su casa, departamento, televisor o así sea un teléfono tengas empatia por esa persona, nuestra vida y salud es lo que más vale pero también es lo que sacrificamos cada día para obtener lo que tenemos y es por eso que las lagrimas son aún más cuando ves el como quedó tu carro o como se derrumbó tu cuarto.

Hi, I'm Ale, and I live in Yaracuy, Venezuela, which was the epicenter of the earthquake on June 24. Thank God there wasn’t much damage to my house, and all my family and friends are safe. However, there are many people—both here in Yaracuy and in other parts of Venezuela—who lost everything: family, friends, their homes, and their belongings. I mention these last two in particular for a reason: people say that what matters most is being alive, and there’s no doubt about that, but we Venezuelans know how hard it is for us to acquire our own material possessions, which is why I think it’s also important to mention that if you see a photo or video of someone crying over their house, apartment, TV, or even just a phone, have empathy for that person; our life and health are what matter most, but they’re also what we sacrifice every day to obtain what we have—and that’s why the tears flow even more when you see the state your car is in or how your room has collapsed.

Hemos recibido mucha ayuda de otros países y de parte de todos los venezolanos se los agradezco en el alma, han ayudado a familia reencontrarse, salvado a mascotas y ahora algo en lo que debemos estar muy pendientes es en cuidar a nuestros niños, se han visto casos de personas buscando hacerles daño, si estas en alguna zona afectada y tienes la posibilidad de cuidar a algún niño de manera responsable por favor hazlo, asegúrense de que estan sanos y de que estan con personas responsables y de buen corazón, estas imágenes que ven a lo largo del post es una caja que estoy preparando para donarla a aquellos a quienes lo necesiten, tiene colores, lápices y cuadernos para que los niños puedan dibujar y distraerse, no es mucho pero es algo. De esta misma manera done partende mi dinero a Yummy, un servicio digital que ayuda a las personas a trasladarse de un lugar a otro, estas personas estan ayudando a trasladar insumos y personas de manera gratuita para seguir ayudando.

You’ve helped families reunite and saved pets, and now something we must be very vigilant about is taking care of our children—there have been cases of people trying to harm them. If you’re in an affected area and are able to take care of a child responsibly, please do so, Make sure they’re healthy and that they’re with responsible, kind-hearted people. The images you see throughout this post show a box I’m putting together to donate to those in need—it contains crayons, pencils, and notebooks so the children can draw and take their minds off things. It’s not much, but it’s something. In the same way, I donated some of my money to Yummy, a digital service that helps people get from one place to another. These people are helping to transport supplies and people for free so they can continue to provide assistance.
